Thai Ambassador visited Nay Pyi Taw to prepare for Thailand’s participation in the 27th SEA Games

      On 23 October 2013, H.E. Mr. PisanuSuvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, called on H.E. U Tint Hsan, Union Minister for Sports, and H.E. U HtayAung, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism, to discuss matters related to the participation of Thailand in the 27th SEA Games.  It is expected that over 1,200 athletes, trainers and their support team members, will join this event.  

     Later on 24 October 2013, Ambassadors of ASEAN countries in Myanmar attended the briefing by H.E. U Zaw Winn, Deputy Minister for Sports, on the preparation for the 27th SEA Games at WunnaTheikdi Sports Stadium.  Afterwards, the Deputy Minister led ASEAN Ambassadors on the tour of sport facilities, athlete villages, and offices for National Olympic Committees of each country.
     The outstanding preparation for 27th SEA Games of Myanmar was highly applauded.  And as a true friend, Thailand is prepared to work closely with Myanmar to ensure that the forthcoming Games of ASEAN Community will be a great success.
