Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow explored the way to boost Thai-Uzbek relationship

During 7 - 11 September 2013, a delegation from the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow, led by Mrs. Nitaya Jessadachatr, Minister, paid a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, with a view to strengthening the positive trends of trade and tourism between two countries.
In this trip, the Delegation had a courtesy call on Mr. Murad Askarov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and discussed the way forward to bilateral relationship, both at the state and diplomatic levels, the possibility of exemption of visa requirements, as well as sought support for Thailand in the international fora. In addition, the Delegation had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Zafar Ergashev, Honorary Consul of Thailand in Tashkent about on the establishment of Thai Center as a means to publicize information about Thailand, upon which both sides have mutually agreed.
