Mr. Prachuab Chiyasan, President of Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association together with Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association delegation of 16 people paid a visit to Vietnam to introduce himself and the newly elected executives of the Association on 11-12 September 2013. 

     During the visit, Mr. Prachuab Chiyasan paid courtesy calls to H.E. Mr. Hoang Trung Hai, Deputy Prime Minister  H.E. Mrs. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phi, Deputy Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Welfare and held consultations with Mr. Vu Xuan Hong, President of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Mr. Ta Quang Ngoc, President of Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, Chairman of the External Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Mr. Nguyen Huu Hong, Chairman of Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association of Hanoi to discuss the roles of Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association in promoting and strengthening the relations between the two countries as well as enhancing people-to-people contacts after the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Thailand has been elevated to the level of “Strategic Partnership” during the official visit to Thailand of H.E. Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in June this year.

     H.E. Mr. Anuson Chinvanno, Ambassador of Thailand also hosted a luncheon in honour of Mr. Prachuab Chiyasan and his delegation.
