On 4 September 2013, the group of ASEAN Ambassadors to Denmark organized an ASEAN reception at the Asia House in Copenhagen with Thailand, holding the Chairmanship of the group, as a host of the event. The reception marked the celebration of ASEAN 46th Anniversary as well as signified the aspiration to work together as a group to further promote ASEAN in Denmark. 

In fact, the ASEAN Embassies in Denmark already started working on a work plan which includes series of seminars and cultural events among others. Individually, the respective members of ASEAN enjoyed cordial and excellent relations with Denmark but there are rooms for promoting new cooperation and partnership in the context of ASEAN.

     Along with Ambassadors of Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam, representative of Ambassador of Lao PDR, representatives from the diplomatic corps in Copenhagen as well as Danish Government officials and some members of business and academic sectors attended the event.

     At the reception, the guests were presented not only overview information on ASEAN Community 2015 but also cultural shows and variety of food from the region as well.
