On 30 July 2013 H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation welcomed  Mr. Amnuay Preemonwong, Chairman of the audit committee, Board of Directors of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the delegation from the audit committee, who visited the Russian Federation between 27 July - 3 August 2013. During the luncheon, hosted by the Ambassador, they have discussed many issues on how to develop the tourism of Thailand and measures to solve the problems in the tourism industry such as the development of Krabi Airport  to serve the increasing number of the Russian tourists, the possibility to increase  the Thai Airways flights from Russia to Thailand, the safety measures for tourists, and the expansion of Russian language teaching to Thai students so as to serve in the tourism sector between 2 countries.
