On 9 February 2013, the Royal Thai Consulate General in Kolkata  participated in the “Calcutta Races - Spring Meeting 2013” of the Royal Calcutta Turf Club by presenting award Cup to the winner of the  “The Thailand Cup” race. On that day, other races also took place, especially ‘The Queen Elizabeth II Cup’ which has been held traditionally and continuously for long time.

     There were around 2,000 people attended the event in the public stand; and around 200 VIP guests presented at the Reserve Stand for cocktail and lunch.
