On 2 February 2013, Dr. Chaiyong Satjipanon, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States of America, together with Minister Saroj Thanasanti and the Royal Thai Embassy’s officer, had a meeting with Wat Thai Washington, D.C. to exchange views on ways to work together to promote education as well as teachings of Thai language and culture, including support for the Summer School Project of Wat Thai Washington, D.C. The meeting also discussed how to encourage activities between Wat Thai Washington, D.C. and Barrie School, one of the schools participating in the Thai-American Sister Schools Program of the Royal Thai Embassy.
