On 30 January 2013  Ms. Panpimon Suwannapongse, Thai Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Doung Quan Ha, Chairman of Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City, to offer her warmest well wishes on the occasion of Vietnamese Traditional New Year (Tet).  The two sides took this opportunity to exchange views on ways to forging future cooperation and collaboration between Thailand and Vietnam in the areas of social and humanitarian work, as well as cultural activities.
