On 23 May 2011, Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered a Country Statement on the Agenda on Key challenges to inclusive and sustainable economic and social development in Asia and the Pacific at the 67th session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) held at the United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok. The statement focused on Thailands implementation of economic and social policy, promotion of human rights, and regional development in the framework of ASEAN.
