On 18 October 2010, 1800 hrs, Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya presided over The Islamic Culture Night, at Vithes Samosorn, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This event was also attended by representatives from government and private sector, embassies and other dignitaries.The event showcased a variety of interesting activities including unique and rarely seen cultural shows from the Thai Muslim community, an exhibition about the history of the Muslim community in Bangkok, local crafts and sumptuous Muslim delicacies.
