On 20 – 21 June 2020 the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague, in cooperation with Thai Trade Office, Prague, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prague (TAT) and Zlute Lazne, organized Czech-Thai Day 2020: Amazing Thai Market @Zlute Lazne. Freshly cooked Thai food by the chef from the Ambassador’s Residence, Thai Station Bistro & Cafe and Rattanakosin Thai Restaurant were prepared at the live stations under the Thai booth. Thai Trade Office in Prague promoted Thai rice, Thai food seasonings and snacks and also promoted Thai Select logo to participants of the event. TAT presented the weaving demonstration of Thai traditional wind mobile fish (Pla-Ta-Pien), representing sending of tender, loving and care to cheer up the world that we shall all overcome all difficulties and hardships from COVID-19 pandemic together, traditional Thai dance, Muaythai, Thai fruits and vegetables carving during the event. In addition, Czech local tour operators, namely Siam Travel and China Tour s.r.o. offered a wide range of package tour to Thailand which are customized to fit different groups of Czech tourists and the presentation was attended by a number of interested tourists, both frequently and first time travelers. The event was attended by approximately 900 – 1,000 people.
