During 17- 20 January 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy organised a mobile consular service at Double Tree By Hilton in Perth. The service included processing applications for e-passports and providing advice and answering enquiries on consular related matters. This mission also provided an opportunity for officers of the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra to reach out and meet with the members of the Thai community in Perth as well as establish a network of communication in case of emergency through registration process.

In addition, the Royal Thai Embassy representative also took the opportunity to participate in the "Australian Bushfires Donation Dinner Concert 2020)" at the Olympic Kingsway Sports Club which organised by Thai communities in Western Australia. This is a fundraising activity to help victims of bushfires in Australia. The Embassy representative attended the event and received a donation collected in total of 16,895 Australian dollars which will be pass on to the Australian Red Cross Based in the Australian Capital Territory to help support the bushfire relief and recovery endeavour.

The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to take this opportunity to express its appreciation towards the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate in Perth, especially Mr. Reuben Kooper, Honorary Consul, and his team for the warm hospitality and support extended to the officers from the Embassy throughout their time in Perth.

The Royal Thai Embassy will organize another mobile consular service in Melbourne in late of February. Further details will be advised in due course.
