On 2 November 2019, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, met and exchanged views with H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, during the 35th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits to strengthen bilateral ties, and enhance cooperation between the two countries in various dimensions. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand also welcomed Bahrain’s accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) especially during Thailand’s ASEAN Chairmanship. The Thai side also reiterated its readiness to support Bahrain’s active and constructive interactions with ASEAN in the future ahead.
