On Saturday August 24, 2019, Mrs. Kamolpatr Pratoomkaew, Spouse of Consul-General of Thailand to Los Angeles, Mrs. Chitrachawee Aroonrunglert, Consul, and staff from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Los Angeles, attended and set up a Thailand booth at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Women Circle of Los Angeles’ Bazaar, at the Residence of Consul-General of the Philippines to Los Angeles in Acadia, Los Angeles. The ASEAN Consulate-Generals participated in the event were Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

Approximately 200 guests enjoyed the event’s activities, including member countries’ booths selling national souvenirs, food and dessert, ASEAN cultural performances, lucky draws, and cooking demonstrations of Thai food – Som Tum (papaya salad) and Larb Gai (spicy minced chicken salad). Net proceeds will go to charitable organizations in Los Angeles.
