On August 4, 2019, Mrs. Chitrachawee Aroonrunglert, Consul, attended “Stu and the Kids’ Flavor of Asia Food Fest,” a charity fair organized by the non-profit organization, Stu and the Kids, and spearheaded by Mr. Stuart M. Approximately 500 guests enjoyed the event’s activities, including Asian-style food and beverage festival from famous restaurants in Los Angeles, silent and live charity auctions in which the Thai Consulate-General donated a Thai Benjarong tea set for the auction, Thai cultural performances, a demonstration of Muay Thai (or Thai kick boxing), and a Thai tourism promotion booth from Tourism Authority of Thailand, Los Angeles Office.

At the event, Stu and the Kids raised $90,000 which will help providing 7 full-4-year university scholarships to orphaned hill tribe kids in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
