On 15 June 2021, Thailand Board of Investment Paris Office, one of Team Thailand representatives in Italy, hosted a Webinar on “Doing Business in Thailand: Key Location for ASEAN Digital Hub” with an aim to promote Thailand as ASEAN Digital Hub to Italian investors. H.E. Mr. Chirdchu Raktabur, Ambassador of Thailand to Italy and H.E. Mr. Lorenzo Galanti, Ambassador of Italy to Thailand, were invited to give opening remarks. Also present were speakers from the Ministry of Digital and Economy and Society (MDES), National Innovation Agency (NIA), Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), Thai – Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC), including a foreign company invested in Thailand. The Webinar provided an opportunity for Thai and Italian stakeholders to exchange views and explore business opportunities in a digital sector.
