On 1 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, received and discussed with H.E. Dr. Adel Mohamed Ali Bahamid, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Thailand, with residence in Kuala Lumpur, during a courtesy call to enhance bilateral relations. Both sides discussed the current situation in Yemen and the ways towards peace through conflict resolution, as well as ways to promote Thailand-Yemen relations in potential areas, especially in education, trade, tourism, and the establishment of bilateral mechanism to promote relationsand cooperation between the two countries.
