On 22 - 23 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with representatives from the public and private sectors of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in Seoul.
The Vice Foreign Minister met with H.E. Mr. Park Yoonjoo, 1st Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the ROK, to advance plans for high-level exchanges and promote cooperation in the defense industry and combating transnational crime, as well as to expedite the conclusion of negotiations on the Thailand – ROK Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
The Vice Foreign Minister also met with senior executives of Hyundai Motor Group, Hanwha Group, and KT Corporation to explore opportunities for collaboration in future industries, such as EVs, artificial intelligence, space technology, infrastructure, and the defense industry.
