On 6 April 2023, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, visited the Polish Red Cross Warehouse in Przeworsk to inspect 17 power generators (20 kV) procured by the Polish Red Cross from the 5-million-Baht humanitarian donation (approximately USD 144,000) from the Royal Thai Government to Ukraine. These high-demand relief items will be dispatched to Ukraine in mid-April 2023 and distributed to communities in Kyiv for their daily essential use.

Ambassador Urasa Mongkolnavin conveyed the appreciation from the Thai side to the Polish Red Cross representatives from the headquarters and Podkarpacki Regional Branch Unit in the south-eastern part of Poland, for the cooperation and support in bringing the 3rd batch of humanitarian assistance from Thailand to Ukraine. The representatives of the Polish Red Cross also expressed their appreciation to the Royal Thai Government and Thai people for the continued support.

Following the warehouse visit, Ambassador Urasa Mongkolnavin met and discussed with executives of the Podkarpacki Branch Unit on the Polish Red Cross' mission and operation at the regional and local level, especially the role of the Branch Unit as an important centre of the Polish Red Cross' humanitarian assistance operation in Ukraine. Both sides also exchanged views on possible cooperation in this area in the future.
