Landbridge will forge connectivity between the Pacific and Indian Ocean as Thailand seeks to take advantage of its strategic location at the heart of Southeast Asia. Landbridge will function as a marine route for cargo ships in the region that is safer, faster, and more cost-saving compared to the Malacca Strait and represents a golden opportunity for investments in commercial and strategic megaprojects. To this end, the Prime Minister invited Japan, a longstanding partner of Thailand, to invest in the project and promote mutual economic growth in the future.
