Deputy Director-General of European Affairs Department delivers opening remarks at the Swedish - Thai Networking Reception

On 2 October 2025, Ms. Marinee Suwanmoli, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, as a representative of the Ministry, delivered opening remarks at the Swedish - Thai Networking Reception, co-hosted by the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok and the Thai - Swedish Chamber of Commerce on the sidelines of the Sustainability Expo 2025 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event brought together more than 100 participants from the public sector, academia, and private sector of both Thailand and Sweden.

The Deputy Director-General reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to transitioning towards a low-carbon society and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 in line with the government policy. She also highlighted the promotion of Thai - Swedish cooperation under the Strategic Partnership framework, particularly in green innovation and circular economy.
