On 5 October 2022, H.E. Ms. Alenka Suhadolnik, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Thailand with residence in Beijing paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Both sides agreed to utilize the existing bilateral mechanism such as the Political Consultation and the Joint Economic Council to move forward bilateral relations especially in trade, investment and cooperation in international organizations. Moreover, both sides agreed to explore new areas of cooperation such as arts and cinema.
