Ambassador of Thailand Discusses with Royal Park Rajapruek to promote Thai Horticultural Innovation in the “Sawadee Seoul Thai Festival 2025”

On 29 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, exchanged views with Ms. Thinrat Pitakpongcharoen, Director of the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai province, at the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul on ways to promote botanical cooperation between Thailand and the ROK and to present Thai green tech to global stage.

Both sides agreed on the importance of adopting best practices from the ROK’s botanical garden to enhance the management of the Royal Park Rajapruek and also discussed plans to showcase Thai horticultural innovations—such as vertical farming systems and smart garden designs—at the upcoming “Sawadee Seoul Thai Festival 2025” to be held during 6-7 September 2025 in Seoul.

The initiative highlights Thailand’s creative and sustainable approach to botanical garden management and green diplomacy.
