Ambassador Tanee Strengthens Veterans’ Affairs Cooperation with MPVA Minister

On 30 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, met with H.E. Kang Jung-ai, Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the ROK, to strengthen veterans’ affairs cooperation between Thailand and the ROK. In particular, both sides discussed ongoing cooperation on exchange programmes for Korean War veterans and their descendants, restoration of the Thai Pavilion at the Thai War Memorial in Pocheon, and future interment ceremonies for Thai Korean War veterans in the ROK. Col. Itt Thippayachan, Defence and Army Attaché, also attended in the meeting.

Both sides agreed to foster even closer collaboration, especially through the MOU between the War Veterans Organisation of Thailand and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
