On 6 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs discussed with Ms. Christine Arab, Regional Director of UN Women Asia and the Pacific and UN Women Representative to Thailand, who paid a courtesy call on her assumption of duty.

On this occasion, both sides discussed the work of UN Women in Thailand and the promotion of gender equality and women's rights in Thailand, the region and world. The Vice Minister affirmed Thailand's commitment to advance women's rights and gender equality with the view to contribute to the progress in achieving sustainable development.
