On 5 June 2021, His Majesty the King graciously granted a Royal cremation ceremony for His Excellency Mr. Andrii Beshta, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand, who passed away on 30 May 2021, at Wat Thep Sirinthrawat Ratchaworawihan.

His Excellency Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over the Royal cremation ceremony.

The Royal cremation ceremony of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand was attended by Mrs. Nataliia Beshta, spouse of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand and her two sons, Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, together with the diplomatic corps in Thailand and the Ambassador’s friends in Thailand.

Earlier during the morning, the Beshta family and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attended the funeral prayer rites and offered robes to Buddhist monks.

The last day of prayer rites under royal auspices for Ambassador Bestha was held on 4 June 2021; this was attended by the Beshta family, senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic corps in Thailand.
