On 21 July 2026, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, chaired a meeting to monitor and assess the situation in the Middle East following the end of the ceasefire and the resumption of hostilities. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Ministry, as well as the Royal Thai Embassies and Royal Thai Consulates-General throughout the Middle East via videoconference, to receive updates and jointly assess the latest developments, exchange information, review the progress of assistance provided to Thai nationals, and assess preparedness should the situation evolve, taking into account the specific circumstances in each area.

All Royal Thai Embassies and Royal Thai Consulates-General will continue advising Thai nationals in their respective jurisdictions to closely follow official updates issued by the Embassies and Consulates-General, as well as to strictly comply with advisories and instructions issued by the authorities of the host countries. At present, there have been no reports of Thai nationals in the Middle East being seriously affected by the situation. The Ministry will continue to closely monitor and assess the situation, while coordinating with the relevant countries to ensure that, should the need arise, assistance to Thai nationals can be provided in a timely and efficient manner, with the safety of Thai nationals remaining the Ministry's foremost priority.
