On 14 May 2024, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, welcomed H.E. Datuk Jojie Samuel, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, who paid a courtesy call on the occasion of the completion of duty.

The Permanent Secretary expressed her deep gratitude for the Ambassador’s great contributions in strengthening bilateral relations between Thailand and Malaysia, as well as for his active role as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, including an initiative to organise the Inaugural Ambassadors’ Ball 2024, which successfully raised fund for over one million bahts to the Chaipattana Foundation. Both sides also discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation through high-level mechanism as well as exchanged information on progress of border development projects, which will benefit the people on both sides of the border.
