On 19 May 2026, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, hosted a luncheon in honour of H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to Thailand, on the occasion of his completion of duty.

The Permanent Secretary expressed appreciation for the Ambassador’s active role throughout his tenure and commended the progress in bilateral relations between Thailand and Mongolia, including the implementation of the Thailand - Mongolia Five-Year Cooperation Plan (2022 - 2027), academic cooperation, tourism, connectivity, cooperation in multilateral forums, and various activities organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Thailand - Mongolia diplomatic relations. The Ambassador, in turn, expressed appreciation for the support extended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the close cooperation with the Thai side across various dimensions in jointly advancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
