On 24 October 2025, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting (ASEAN SOM) on the Sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

The Meeting discussed preparations for the upcoming ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, the 47th ASEAN Summit and related Summits, scheduled to take place during 25 - 28 October 2025, as well as followed up on key issues, including ASEAN’s relations with Dialogue Partners and the formal admission of Timor-Leste as a full member of ASEAN at the current ASEAN Summit.
