H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to attend the 30th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE MC30) between 30 November - 1 December 2023 in Skopje, North Macedonia. The Ministerial Council meets yearly. It provides participants the opportunity to review the security situation both in Europe and around the world and to discuss approaches to advancing comprehensive security across the three main dimensions of the OSCE’s work: (1) Politico-Military; (2) Economic-Environmental; and (3) the Human Dimension. North Macedonia chairs the Meeting this year under the motto of “It’s About People.”

The OSCE is the world’s largest regional security organization, comprising 57 members, mostly in Europe, but also including the United States, Canada and Mongolia. Thailand, the only ASEAN Member State involved in the OSCE, has been a Partner for Co-operation since the year 2000.
