Her Excellency Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from 23 to 24 April 2025, at the invitation of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

This marks Prime Minister Paetongtarn’s first official visit to Cambodia since assuming office.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold a bilateral talk with her Cambodian counterpart to further strengthen ties and advance cooperation between the two countries. Key areas of focus will include enhancing trade and economic collaboration, promoting connectivity, addressing cross-border challenges, and strengthening people-to-people ties.

The Prime Minister will be granted a royal audience with His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia. In addition, she will also meet Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The official visit takes place in the context of growing momentum in Thailand - Cambodia relations, following the elevation of bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership in 2024. The visit also coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
