On 3 March 2025, Mr. Suwat Kaewsook, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-art, President of RMUTT, RNDr. Miroslav Brzezina, Rector of TUL, Mr. Schle Wood-thanan, CEO and founder of PASAYA and delegations.   In this regard, Ambassador Suwat hosted luncheon in honor of all delegates at the Embassy.  The function was also attended by Mr. Supsin Chimplee, Minister Counsellor, and the embassy’s officials.

Later, Ambassador Suwat accompanied all delegations to meet Father Pavel Pola, the Rector of the Church of Our Lady Victorious in Prague.  During the short remarks, Thai delegates expressed their appreciation to the Church for their kind consideration to dress the Thai robes on the statue of the Infant Jesus Prague from 17 January until 4 March 2025.

The robes were co-designed by the Faculties of  Textile Engineering of the RMUTT and TUL and were made by PASAYA and Gemma Knit, Thai leading manufacturers which are expertise in textile art and inner lining.  The design aims to represent the mutual respect in culture between Thailand and the Czech Republic which have been cultivated throughout 50 years of friendship between the two nations. From now on, the Embassy wishes the bond of friendship between two countries will be further strengthened through people-to-people relations.
