On 28 August 2023, Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Deputy Permanent Secretary acting Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, gave a donation of 10,000 euros (approximately 400,000 baht) from the Government of Thailand to Slovenia, through Mrs. Phatra Putipanpong, Honorary Consul-General of Slovenia in Thailand, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The financial assistance is aimed to help Slovenia recover from the severe flooding on 3-4 August 2023 and to show solidarity with Slovenia and her people during difficult times.
