On 15 November 2023, Dr. Kris Chatamra, Director of the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer (QSCBC) and Foundation, presented the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, with 100 copies of “Sanctuary” — a limited book series featuring Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

On this occassion, PS expressed his appreciation with confidence that the book will further promote Thailand’s strength and progress in medicine and public health at the international level. In this regard, the MFA will distribute the copies of the book to Thai Ambassadors and Consuls-General during their annual conference to be held next week in Thailand for their missions’ further perusal.

Published on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s 90th Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2022, “Sanctuary” shares the success story of the QSCBC and Foundation as a “sanctuary for all women,” through a compilation of valuable information and breast cancer ambassadors from over 15 years to raise the public awareness of breast cancer to a greater extend.
