To celebrate the 15^th Anniversary of the cooperation with Vienna Fashion Week, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna organised the THAIdentity Fashion Show on 12 September 2024 at MuseumsQuartier. Four Thai designers—GONGDID, PIYASILA, RIVA and ROSE MARS, proudly presented their latest collections on the prestigious runway to the international audience.

H.E. Mrs. Vilawan Mangklatanakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, opened the show with her remarks under the theme “FLOW” reflecting uninterrupted progress of the long-standing relations between Thailand and Austria, the harmonious blending of Thai cultures, and the dynamism of fashion design which is a unique expression of Thailand’s identity or “THAIdentity”.

THAIdentity Fashion Show received great attention from the media and fashion enthusiasts alike. The success of the show underscores the growing creativity of Thai designers on the international fashion stage. It also highlighted the outstanding culture which is an important part of cordial ties between Thailand and Austria.

Following the show, Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception for distinguished guests serving Thai food from the Thai Select awarded restaurants in Vienna.
