On Friday 2 August 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo organised the Homage-Paying and Blessing Ceremonies to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary, 12 August 2024, at the Hall of the Royal Thai Embassy. On this auspicious occasion, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, presided over the ceremonies in honour of Her Majesty. Participants included the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Tokyo, along with their spouses. At the ceremonies, the Ambassador offered pedestal floral trays and led attendees in delivering a gracious speech of blessings and in singing the royal anthem and Sadudee Phra Mea Thai song, as well as in penning their well-wishes for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

The book of felicitations on Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother's Birthday Anniversary will be opened for the public at the Royal Thai Embassy until 15 August 2024.
