On 12 October 2022, to mark the occasion of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej Memorial (King Rama IX) Day on 13 October, Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke led Thai officials from the Embassy and Team Thailand in Stockholm in paying respect to King Rama IX and organized a Buddhist ceremony at the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm. The participants also used the occasion to make merits for those who lost their lives during the recent tragedy of #nongbualamphu.

 

In her statement to express deepest gratitude to His Majesty, Ambassador Kanchana, on behalf of the Team Thailand, said “As servants of the Land, we pledge to follow Your Majesty’s guidance and aspiration to bring sustainable development, prosperity and well-being to the people of Thailand.”
