On May 31, 2022, Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke, together with Mr. Roongroth Rangsiyopash, the President and the CEO of Siam Cement Group (SCG), and his executive team, welcomed and discussed with representatives from Swedish agencies relating to innovation, technology, startup, and sustainability, such as Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), Stockholm University Holding, Epicenter Stockholm, and Eco Innovation Foundation at the ambassador's residence. A number of Swedish companies and startups offering sustainable solutions also participated.

Various issues were discussed, including business, economic, and academic collaborations. Ambassador had also introduced the newly established Thailand-Nordic Countries Innovation Unit (TNIU) initiated by the Thai Embassies in the Nordic countries to promote innovation and technology cooperation between Thailand and the Nordic countries.
