On 5 April 2023, H.E. Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva welcomed a delegation of 27 Thai government executives on their visit to the ROK as part of a study trip under the e-Government Executive Program (e-GEP#12), arranged by the Digital Government Development Agency of Thailand (TDGA). On this occasion, the Ambassador gave a briefing on the ROK’s important political, economic, and foreign policies, as well as the overall status of Thai-ROK bilateral relations and the Royal Thai Embassy’s activities. Minister Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen also provided the delegation with an overview of the Embassy’s consular affairs and situation of Thai workers in the ROK. Towards the end, the Ambassador engaged in a Q&A with the delegation and exchanged views on various topics, such as the ROK’s digital government, success factors of Korean soft power, and the ROK’s investment in Thailand, including in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
