On 8 July 2023, H.E. Ms. Rommanee Kananurak, Ambassador of Thailand to Italy attended the “Sport is Life” event promoted by UNVS Section of Rome “Nai Khanom Tom” Sport and Culture, upon the invitation of Mr. Federico Conti, President of UNVS Section of Rome “Nai Khanom Tom” Sport and Culture at the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) Building in Rome. On this occasion, Ambassador of Thailand to Italy received an official recognition for the activity carried out in favor of the promotion of Muay Thai and Thai culture in Italy. On the same occasion, Mr. Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, Muay Thai kickboxer also received an official recognition in category “sports technicians.”

For the promotion of Muay Thai in Italy, the Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with UNVS Section of Rome “Nai Khanom Tom” Sport and Culture will organize Muay Thai roadshow in Rome during 7 – 8 August 2023 with an aim to increase popularity of Muay Thai in Italy. National Union Sport Veterans (UNVS) is an association recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Section of Rome “Nai Khanom Tom” Sport and Culture was established to promote activities about Muay Thai and Thai culture in Italy.
