During 16-17 September 2022, Mr. Monsak Jangariyawong, Minister Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo, Miss Potchamas Saengthien, Counsellor, and Embassy’s officials attended cultural performances by a group of young and talented Thai artists called ‘Moradokmai’ (literally means ‘new heritage’), under the guidance of Mr. Janaprakal Chandruang, 2019 Thai National Artist in the field of Performing arts (Film and drama), at the Nordpolen School and the Lilleaker in Oslo. On 15 September 2022, ‘Moradokmai’ also performed at the Grønli School in Porsgrunn. The total audience attended the 3 days performance was about 200 people.

 

The Embassy would like to thank the Thai Music and Dance Club in Norway, Thai Women Association in Norway, and Thai Language and Cultural Association in Grenland for arranging the venues for the ‘Moradokmai’ performances. The ‘Moradokmai’ group are currently on their European tour during August-October 2022 and were in Norway during 13-18 September 2022. The Embassy hopes that the young and talented Thai artists ‘Moradokmai’ will visit Norway once again next year.
