On 19 December 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi organized social service activities under the “Royal Initiative Volunteers” program at the “Spread a Smile India”, in commemoration of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the National Day and the Father’s Day of the Kingdom of Thailand. On this occasion, H.E. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, led the Royal Volunteers, consisting of Heads of Team Thailand Offices and Embassy staff, to provide donations in support of their work and offer snacks to children and youth under the patronage of the Spread a Smile India.
The ”Spread a Smile India” is a non-profit private organization that provides assistance and development to children and youth, particularly vulnerable groups in Indian society, through support in education, health, and basic public utilities.
