Ms. Sasirit Tangulrat and a delegation from the Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi visited the Kenya School of Agriculture (KSA), Nyeri Campus, and the Office of County Commissioner of Nyeri, for a discussion on the Project “Thailand-Kenya Sustainable Agro-technologies Development” and the launching of the Thailand-Kenya Agro-technologies Learning Centre at KSA in July 2022 to commemorate the 55th Anniversary of the Thailand-Kenya Diplomatic Relationship. The Project is an initiative between the Royal Thai Embassy and the Kenya School of Agriculture, which aims to increase Kenya’s agricultural productivity through capacity building and the application of Thailand’s agricultural technologies. The Project has been approved by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and is joining the ranks of TICA’s international development projects on the African continent. Others of TICA’s on-the-ground projects in Africa are: the Republic of Benin, the Republic of Mozambique, and the Kingdom of Lesotho.
