On 15 September 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy organized 'Thai Festival in Nepal 2022' at 'Dev Niwas' , the Thai Residence in Kathmandu. Activities involved authentic Thai food demonstration by Chef Kamol Chobdee-Ngam, winner of the Iron Chef Thailand, 2015, who came to join us directly from Bangkok, cooking trial by the guests, Thai Massage demonstration as well as Muay Thai (Thai boxing) show.

The food we highlighted this year is 'Pad Thai', the all time famous Thai street food and the new item to introduce this year is 'Khao Soi', which has been recently voted Number ONE among world 50 best soups by reviewers in TasteAtlas website.
