On 21-22 September 2022, H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General of Thailand, presided over "Rediscover Thailand with Amazing New Chapters of Luxury" receptions at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, Dubai and at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa, Ras Al Khaimah, respectively, hosted by Tourism Authority of Thailand, Dubai and Middle East Office, to express Thailand's readiness in welcoming UAE tourists back again, especially in luxury and wellness products and services.

 

At both events, representatives of leading luxurious hotels in Thailand such as Siam Kempinski and Sindhorn Kempinski in Bangkok, Soneva Kiri, Koh Kood in Trat and Amanpuri in Phuket, presented the readiness of their respective hotels in accomodating tourists from the UAE in post-Covid 19 era to media representatives and tourism agents in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

 

In addition, Emirates Airline representative presented its plan of increasing the numbers of flight to Thailand; from 3 existing daily flights to Bangkok to 4-5 flights, and from 1 to 2 daily flights to Phuket starting on 1 October 2022.
