On 27 July 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organized activities to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua. The events took place at the Chancery and were presided over by H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar.

The activities included a homage-paying and flower-offering ceremony, a candle-lighting ceremony, and the signing of the book of well-wishes for His Majesty the King. Officials, staffs, and family members of the Royal Thai Embassy, along with members of the Thai communities in the State of Qatar, participated in these ceremonies. Additionally, during this occasion, the Ambassador led the Royal Thai Embassy officials and staff in an oath-taking ceremony.

As a tribute to His Majesty the King, following the commemorative ceremonies, the Royal Thai Embassy donated 300 bottles of drinking water to local mosques and nearby workers in the Embassy’s vicinity. This gesture aimed to help prevent dehydration during the hot summer days of the State of Qatar.
