On 28 July 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised the Royal Thai Volunteers Project in commemoration of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua. H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, along with the Embassy’s officials and staff, as well as Thai nationals residing in the Hellenic Republic, donated blood at the General Hospital of Athens Korgialeneio - Benakeio (Hellenic Red Cross). Dr. Georgios Mpollas, Director of the Blood Donation Department, expressed the hospital’s sincere appreciation for the Embassy’s voluntary blood donation and social responsibility to help patients and people in need.
