On 10 January 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, along with his spouse and Embassy officials, inaugurated the Thailand Pavilion within the Hello Asia Event by Qatari Diar at Lusail Boulevard. This event is a significant component of the 18th AFC Asian Cup 2023, taking place from 10 January to 10 February 2024. This year, the Thai national football team successfully qualified as one of the final 24 teams.
The Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with Qatari Diar, the organizer of Hello Asia, played a vital role in the design and curation of the Thai Pavilion. The pavilion stands as a testament to the unique Thai architecture, showcasing a splendid array of Thai arts and culture, including captivating displays of traditional Thai musical instruments, enticing promotional Thai tourism videos, and a delightful photo booth experience. The Thailand Pavilion provides a valuable opportunity to share the cultural richness and heritage of Thailand with both local public and visitors attending the AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Doha. This initiative aligns with the Royal Thai Government's efforts to promote Thai culture, contributing to the economic and tourism development of Thailand.
The Royal Thai Embassy extends a warm invitation everyone to explore and experience the captivating charm of the Thailand Pavilion at Lusail Boulevard throughout the Hello Asia Event. The Pavilion is open from 10 January to 10 February 2024, between 4.00 PM and midnight, and admission is free, providing an immersive journey into the heart of Thai culture.
