The Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar, led by Ambassador Thippawan Supamitkitja,  organised a volunteer activity on 2^nd December 2022 on the occasion of Birthday Anniversary of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of Thailand and Thai Father’s Day. On this auspicious occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy visited the ORT-SEN/NGOR school in Ngor, Dakar, and donated essential items such as school supplies, stationery, Thai rice, cocao and milk powder, as requested by the school, since their supplies and food provision were spoilt by the flood this year. Basic information on Malaria prevention was also distributed to raise awareness of the school staffs on the preventive measures. The ORT-SEN/NGOR school is a kindergarten school with 290 students, aging from 3 to 6 years old.

The Mayor of Ngor, Mr. Maguèye NDIAYE, participated in the said activity. He thanked the Embassy for contributing to the school as well as Ngor municipality and is ready to discuss ways forward on cooperation with the Embassy, in order promote a closer relationship between Senegal and Thailand at the people’s level.
